This week Professor Noel Fitzpatrick was honoured to meet animal rights lawyer Steven Wise, president of the Nonhuman Rights Project at a special screening in London of a new and inspiring film by Pennebaker Hegedus Films, named “Unlocking the Cage”.
The film follows the story of Steven and his team as they make history by filing the first lawsuits that seek to transform an animal from a thing with no rights to a person with legal status and protection.
